Hi, i'm
Tasha Gandamihardja
If you’re looking for someone who really understands the fears, frustrations and stress of breast cancer, I’m here to help you.
My mission is to help people navigate THROUGH and BEYOND a breast cancer diagnosis.
Whether you’re worried about a new breast symptom, trying to cope with a breast cancer diagnosis or looking for support through your treatment and beyond, I can provide you with trusted information, compassionate support and rapid diagnosis.
As a specialist breast cancer surgeon for over a decade, I have seen hundreds of people experiencing breast health problems. Many of these patients could be reassured without needing any form of treatment, but there have also been many who I have had to diagnose and guide through their cancer treatments.
A cancer diagnosis is a shock and the speed things move to treatment can feel overwhelming. You can feel like you’re making life-changing decisions while you’re still processing the diagnosis. It can be a scary, lonely and emotionally challenging time.
But you don’t have to do it alone. I’ve dedicated my life to helping people navigate through breast cancer – and I’m here to help you too.
My Story
I always knew I wanted to be a surgeon. I was born in London, where I also went to Medical School and completed my surgical training. I’ve always been passionate about medicine and keen to expand my knowledge and experiences.
This passion has driven me to succeed in my field and taken me on some adventures too! I completed a PhD in molecular biology and was involved in a research fellowship that took me all the way to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles!
A few years later, I also completed a Master’s degree in Surgical Education. Something I have found to come in handy whilst training the future doctors and surgeons of tomorrow!
